Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or buy from us, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We are the data controller for that information.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, delivery address and billing address
- Your email address and, if you give it, your phone number
- What you ordered, when, and how much you paid
- Whether you chose a one-off purchase or a subscription
We do not see or store your card number. Payment details are entered on our payment provider's own secure checkout and are handled only by them.
When you sign up to our mailing list
Only your email address, plus the date you signed up.
When you simply browse
Our website does not run advertising trackers or profiling cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. When you move to checkout, our shop platform sets cookies that are strictly necessary to remember your basket and keep the payment secure.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Taking payment, sending your order, handling returns | Performance of our contract with you |
| Managing a subscription and its renewals | Performance of our contract with you |
| Keeping accounting and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Sending marketing emails | Your consent — withdrawable at any time |
| Keeping the site secure and working | Our legitimate interest |
Who we share it with
We share your data only with suppliers who need it to do their job for us, and only for that purpose:
- Our shop and payment platform, which processes your order and payment
- Delivery carriers, which receive your name and address to bring you your parcel
- Our email provider, which sends order confirmations and, if you asked for them, newsletters
- Our accountant, for statutory records
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Where your data is held
Our suppliers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, so your data keeps the same protection it has here.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: six years after the end of the tax year they fall in, as UK tax law requires
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe, and then we keep a record of your unsubscribe so we do not email you again
- Server logs: a short rolling period, typically no more than 90 days
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or stop how we use it; or send it to another provider. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just reply and ask.
Write to and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site and our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and affects you, we will tell you by email.
